Extra-Curricular Clubs

Wrap Around Care

Our Breakfast and After School Clubs provide additional care for children around the school and pre-school days.  We provide a warm and welcoming environment for up to 20 children, aged 2 to 11 years.  Both clubs take place in the school hall and children are to be dropped off and collected using the Reception entrance door. Our wrap around care team is led by Sarah Gamble who is supported by the Pre-school staff team.

After School Clubs

At the end of the day the children make a smooth transition from the classroom or pre-school to the After-School club where staff are prepared to meet them.  A snack and drink will be provided during the session, please note this is only a snack and not tea.  The children are involved in the planning of snacks to encourage an awareness of a healthier lifestyle.

The children have a choice of activities to keep them busy until collection time.

These include: Sports/outdoor play, arts and crafts, weekly themed activities, story times, cooking, chance to do homework or time just to ‘chill’ after a busy day. 

Staff encourage children to become involved in planning activities to help children feel happy and develop their confidences.

Charges and open times

Available from 3.15pm to 5.30pm Mon – Fri  (during term time only)

Up to 4.30pm - £5.00

Up to 5.00pm - £7.20

Sibling discount is available if two or more children from the same family attend breakfast or after school club. 

General Clubs

Throughout the year, the Sinnington team will also offer a variety of clubs matched to the children’s interests. 

Our Clubs include:

Football (Led by our PE coach from Nigel Carson Sport), Eco Club, Library, Homework Club, Cooking Club, Theatre Club, Singing Club, Signing Club, Board Games Club.

Bookings

To make a booking please contact Mrs Wilkie on 01751 431725 or email admin@sinnington.n-yorks.sch.uk.  You will be asked to complete a Registration form on your initial booking and our preferred method of payment is ParentPay.  All Bookings must be made in advance for Breakfast club but can be made up to 12 noon on the day for after school club. However due to high demand we recommend bookings are made in advance wherever possible.

Contact out of normal school and pre-school hours

If you need to contact the out of school care team outside of normal school hours, e.g. if you are going to be late to collect your child or to notify that someone else will be collecting your child please use this number 07395 938490..
